By downloading, accessing, or using AutoSocial, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the app or related services.
AutoSocial is operated by AutoSocial Pty Ltd. The platform provides features such as account profiles, vehicle profiles, garage content, messaging, groups, meetups, notifications, wallet credits, and related community features for vehicle enthusiasts.
You must provide accurate information and keep your account details reasonably up to date. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account and for maintaining the security of your login and devices.
You must use AutoSocial lawfully and respectfully. You must not harass, threaten, impersonate, spam, deceive, abuse, post unlawful material, or use the platform in a way that risks harm to other people, the community, or the service.
This applies to profiles, vehicle listings, comments, direct messages, group chats, meetup chats, images, videos, usernames, links, invitations, and any other user-generated content or behaviour in the app.
You are responsible for the content you upload, publish, send, or organise through AutoSocial, including profile details, vehicle information, photos, messages, meetup content, group content, and comments. You confirm that you have the right to share that content and that it does not breach any law or third-party rights.
AI-generated images, descriptions, or other content created through AutoSocial's AI generation tools are produced using third-party AI services, including ChatGPT and OpenAI technologies. Any intellectual property rights, usage rights, restrictions, or obligations relating to that AI-generated content are subject to OpenAI's applicable terms and conditions.
AutoSocial does not claim ownership of any intellectual property created through AI generation tools and does not grant separate ownership rights over that content. AutoSocial only provides access to the AI generation feature and adheres to the applicable terms, conditions, and policies set by OpenAI for AI-generated outputs.
AutoSocial provides tools that help users create and join meetups, manage groups, and communicate with others. Organisers, profile owners, and group owners remain responsible for the creation, management, moderation, safety, legality, and consequences of their events, groups, communications, and decisions.
AutoSocial is intended only for responsible vehicle-related activity. Content or behaviour that promotes unsafe, reckless, unlawful, dangerous, exploitative, or harmful conduct may be removed, and related accounts or content may be restricted or terminated without notice where reasonably necessary for safety, compliance, or platform integrity.
The Car Expert Assistant is an optional in-app helper that provides general information about vehicles, parts, events, and the AutoSocial platform. It is powered by third-party AI services and may generate responses based on the details you provide. The assistant is a general information tool only and is not a substitute for professional mechanical, engineering, legal, financial, safety, or manufacturer advice. You must independently verify any information before relying on it, including checking your vehicle owner's manual, VIN-specific parts catalogues, qualified professionals, reputable suppliers, and applicable laws. AutoSocial is not responsible for repairs, servicing decisions, modification choices, purchases, or any consequences arising from reliance on information provided by the Car Expert Assistant.
Live Drives allow users to broadcast an active driving session, share their location in real time, and invite friends, group members, or the public to follow along, join, or chat. Location sharing is voluntary and only remains active while a drive is live. You are responsible for using Live Drives safely and lawfully, including complying with all road rules, licence requirements, and mobile phone use laws in your area. You must not interact with the Live Drive features, chats, or location sharing in a way that distracts you while driving or otherwise creates a safety risk. When you end a drive, or exit the app, your live location broadcast stops and your location is no longer shared with other users. AutoSocial does not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or continuity of any Live Drive location broadcast and is not responsible for the conduct, decisions, or safety of any participant who joins or follows a Live Drive.
Giveaways are created, funded, managed, and fulfilled by their organisers. Entry is free and no purchase is required. Unless the giveaway states otherwise, an eligible AutoSocial member may claim one ticket per giveaway before entries close or the ticket limit is reached.
Entrants must provide accurate account, eligibility, contact, location, vehicle, answer, and postage information where requested. Entrants must satisfy the displayed location, vehicle category, profile-completion, entry-question, timing, and other eligibility requirements. Duplicate, automated, fraudulent, misleading, manipulated, or otherwise ineligible entries may be rejected or removed.
A winner is selected automatically and at random from eligible entries after the displayed closing time. Selection is subject to the availability and operation of the platform. The selected winner is notified and must accept the prize within 24 hours. If the winner declines, does not respond in time, or is found to be ineligible, the organiser may request an automatic redraw from the remaining eligible entries.
For prizes marked as posted, an entrant's postage address is collected privately when they enter. The address is made available to the organiser only if that entrant is selected and accepts the prize, solely for fulfilment. Organisers must protect winner information, use it only to arrange or complete delivery, and must not disclose, sell, use for marketing, or retain it longer than reasonably necessary. AutoSocial removes stored winner postage addresses 30 days after fulfilment is marked complete and removes unsuccessful entry records after 12 months, subject to legal, safety, fraud-prevention, or dispute requirements.
Organisers must accurately describe the prize and provide it in the stated condition and timeframe. They are responsible for prize availability, eligibility settings, delivery or collection arrangements, postage costs, taxes, permits, disclosures, and compliance with applicable trade promotion, privacy, consumer, and other laws. Organisers must not offer unlawful, unsafe, prohibited, counterfeit, misleading, or unavailable prizes.
AutoSocial provides the giveaway tools and automated draw process but, unless AutoSocial is expressly named as the organiser, is not the promoter or supplier of the prize. AutoSocial does not guarantee a prize's condition, safety, suitability, value, delivery, or an organiser's performance. Giveaways may be cancelled, suspended, corrected, or removed where reasonably necessary because of error, fraud, abuse, legal requirements, safety concerns, platform failure, or a breach of these terms.
Giveaway questions, answers, comments, winner communications, and fulfilment activity must comply with AutoSocial's conduct, content, privacy, and safety rules. Decisions about eligibility, enforcement, cancellation, and platform integrity may be made by AutoSocial where reasonably necessary.
AutoSocial may offer paid features, wallet credit top-ups, meetup-related fees, group-related fees, subscriptions, promotional placements, or similar paid functionality. Pricing displayed in the app may change from time to time. Some paid features may renew automatically where clearly indicated in the app.
Where purchases are made through Apple in the iPhone app, Apple's payment, subscription, cancellation, and refund rules may apply. Where purchases are made through Stripe or another payment provider outside Apple's in-app payment system, the relevant provider's payment terms may also apply.
Wallet credits, if offered, are for use within AutoSocial only unless otherwise stated. Credits are not a bank account, are not redeemable for cash, and have no value outside the app unless required by law.
Activated organiser accounts may set a wallet-credit admission price for a meetup. Paid attendees receive access to the exact meetup location after successful payment. Attendees pay an additional 1.9% Stripe processing fee on the admission price. AutoSocial deducts a 10% platform fee from the organiser's admission revenue and records the remaining 90% as organiser earnings in Australian dollars.
Organiser earnings ordinarily become available two days after the meetup ends, subject to refunds, cancellations, disputes, fraud reviews, legal obligations, payment-provider restrictions, reserves, and corrections. Organisers are responsible for event delivery, accurate descriptions, taxes, registrations, invoices, licences, permits, and compliance with applicable laws.
Payout services are provided through Stripe Connect. By connecting a payout account, an organiser agrees to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement and authorises AutoSocial and Stripe to verify identity and business information, manage payout instructions, deduct applicable fees, and process transfers. Stripe may request additional information or restrict payouts. AutoSocial does not store the identity or bank-account details tokenised directly by Stripe.
Organisers may request a cash-out once at least $10.00 AUD is available. A payout request may be delayed, restricted, reversed, or declined because of verification requirements, disputes, refunds, fraud or compliance reviews, insufficient platform funds, payment-provider processing, or incorrect payout details. Processing time depends on Stripe and the organiser's bank. AutoSocial displays payout attempts and status updates but cannot guarantee a particular bank-arrival time.
Eligible meetups or other content may receive promotional visibility or featured placement for limited periods as described inside the app. Featured placement is a visibility feature only and does not guarantee attendance, engagement, business outcomes, or any particular result.
Unless otherwise required by law, paid meetup bookings are final and non-refundable. A refund is only provided when the organiser cancels the meetup before it occurs. No refund is available if an attendee changes their mind, cannot attend, arrives late, leaves early, is removed for breaching event or platform rules, or if the meetup is rescheduled rather than cancelled.
When an organiser cancels a paid meetup, AutoSocial automatically returns each paid attendee's admission credits and 1.9% processing fee to their wallet and reverses the related unpaid organiser earnings. Refunds are returned as AutoSocial wallet credits and are not redeemable for cash, except where required by law.
These meetup conditions are separate from refund rules that may apply to other AutoSocial purchases. If another purchase was made through Apple, Stripe, or another payment provider, that provider's applicable terms and the relevant payment flow may also apply.
We may review, limit, remove, suspend, terminate, block, or report accounts, profiles, vehicle profiles, groups, events, comments, messages, content, or access where we believe this is reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect users, respond to complaints, address safety concerns, prevent abuse, or comply with legal obligations.
AutoSocial has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. If objectionable content is reported, we will review and act on the report within 24 hours, and where the report is substantiated we will remove the offending content and eject or terminate the user who provided it.
Your use of AutoSocial is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We use submitted data to operate app features such as authentication, profiles, messaging, matching, groups, events, moderation, notifications, payments, support, and account management.
You can request deletion of your account using the in-app deletion option or by contacting contact@autosocial.com.au from the email address associated with your AutoSocial account. Some limited information may be retained where reasonably necessary for legal, security, fraud prevention, dispute, accounting, or operational purposes.
AutoSocial is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, user behaviour, event quality, or outcomes from using the platform. You remain responsible for your own decisions, interactions, attendance, travel, and safety.
Information provided through AutoSocial, including information from the AutoSocial Car Expert or any AI-assisted feature, is general information only and is not professional mechanical, engineering, legal, financial, safety, or manufacturer advice. You must independently verify information before relying on it, including checking your vehicle owner's manual, VIN-specific parts catalogues, qualified professionals, reputable suppliers, and applicable laws.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AutoSocial Pty Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or business-related losses arising from your use of the platform. AutoSocial Pty Ltd is also not liable for loss, damage, injury, incorrect purchases, repairs, servicing decisions, modification decisions, safety issues, or other consequences arising from reliance on information provided on the platform or by the AutoSocial Car Expert. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or guarantees that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of AutoSocial after updated terms are published means you accept the revised version.
If you have questions about these terms, contact AutoSocial Pty Ltd at contact@autosocial.com.au or visit www.autosocial.com.au.
